The best South African-bred horses will be on auction at the Cape Premier Yearling Sale.
The CTICC is once again gearing up to host the annual Cape Premier Yearling Sale – the epitome of equestrian excellence.
The centre has been home to this premier horse auction for the last seven years and will welcome horse owners, buyers, sellers and horse lovers on 21 and 22 January 2017.
“Events such as the Cape Premier Yearling Sale provide the CTICC with the opportunity to showcase the centre’s versatility and ability to mold to the needs of our clients. Our venue is a unique space that can transform into whatever our clients desire. I believe that this helps to set us apart but also keeps us on our toes to do even better, and exceed expectations, year-after-year especially with our repeat clients,” says Julie-May Ellingson, Chief Executive Officer at the CTICC.
The sale promises to bring buyers and the general public the best thoroughbred horses South Africa has to offer.
“Top class young horses with progeny of the world class champion Frankel will be on sale in South Africa for the first time,” says Ann Dalton, the Cape Premier Yearling Sale Events Manager.
The CTICC’s exhibition halls will be transformed into stables to accommodate the over 200 horses on auction.
“Its location (the CTICC) is very important to us. We have a lot of foreign visitors who come to buy race horses but at the same time want to enjoy Cape Town’s beauty,” adds Dalton.
